finally

I like where I live. Allworth is a very inconvenient place; no shop & lots of mosquitoes, but I like the peace and quiet, the river, the park next door and the nature strip next to my house that seems to accomodate the weirdest animals/people/things. I like sitting outside all rugged up and feeling the cold on only my fingers, listening to Kate and thinking about everything. The people here have complete different interests to my own, and I doubt I will actually socialise with anyone here but I like the fact that they always wave and smile at me when they drive past at 6 in the morning, while I am walking to the river thinking about whatever the current issue is and they have a whole day ahead of them of freedom and tending to their farms. It's such a relaxed place, and I am really growing to like it.
